ORTHODOX cruise company (ORTCC) was established in 1988 in Rostov-on-Don. Its main activities were focused at inbound travel business, basically at river cruising in Russia and Ukraine and at hotel accommodation.
In 1993 ORTHODOX entered the Moscow market opening an official representative office there. The company was actively launching and developing its new project: the cruise lines from Moscow to St.Petersburg and reverse covering the "Golden Ring of Russia" were growing extremely popular.
In 2001 ORTHODOX opened its office in Paris to become a competitive player on the European travel market.
Since 1999, ORTHODOX has been providing services for more than 50 000 passengers during the navigation period every year; it operates about 19 motorships per navigation where 6 motorships are ORTHODOX's full property.
The company's major interests lie in cruise business in Russia and Ukraine where ORTHODOX has worldwide contacts and partnership relations with international cruise companies. Also, ORTHODOX offers a wide range of land travel services through its Moscow branch.
